2 Movies: 1 Weekend

So as the title says, I saw two movies this weekend. On Friday night I saw "Wedding Crashers" with Leeat. That was pretty damn funny. Vince vaughn, who I thought rocked in "Old School" was awesome in this film, and as usual, Owen Wilson plays, well, Owen Wilson. It was pretty lewd in certain parts, especially the part where Vince Vaughn's character has his nether regions rubbed by the impetuous sister at the dinner table. And yeah, that was pretty much it. The second film I saw was "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Now I walked into this film with a great deal of doubts. Could Johnny Depp replace Gene Wilder? Could I picture Charlie as a short, pasty British kid? I must say, I really enjoyed it. I liked how if modeled the book more than it modeled the first movie. Johnny Depp was pretty damn convincing, and I really liked the backstory they gave him (why he loved candy, etc.). All in all the weekend was pretty good....with the exception of the A.C. in my car crapping out. That was just not fun at all.
