Making baby steps

Fulbright affiliation has been complete! I finally recieved an email back from the professor at Hebrew U and he is willing to affiliate with me, only by name though. Because I have no experience in empirical research (I'm an undergrad, how the f**k was I supposed to have research experience), he can't really write a recommendation letter for me, but I can use his name for Fulbright purposes. So that is really nice. I'm glad to finally have that done. The next step is working on the not-really-a-curriculum vitae "curriculum vitae" which I know is going to be even more difficult than the respearch proposal. I have to talk about me for the C.V., which wouldn't normally seem like a hard thing, but this is to impress academic bigwigs, not an adjunct at school.
Anyways, I start classes on Monday for the summer B session, and my summer is officially over today. It's not like I really had a summer, but it'll be good to get out of my apartment and learn stuff. Other than that, Tracy has gone home for the summer so my offical drinking buddy for the July 28th 21st birthday celebration will be (drumroll please...): my coworker, Leeat. It's not like Tracy could go out drinking with me anyways; her 21st isn't till August. I'm not exactly looking forward to my birthday. Since my 12th birthday, it just hasn't been the same. Whatever.
