Out of Indy

This is my last afternoon in Indy so my brother, Rae, Shaye and I are making the most of it. Yesterday was Shayele's birhtday (the big numero uno), and that was a great deal of fun. And the day before that I had an aura soma reading from Rae's friend, Riki. This was quite interesting. Basically, there's a giant display of bottles with 2 layers of colored oils. What you have to do is, if I remember correctly, pick 6 and Riki (or whoever else is doing it) reads the colors and their coordinating numbers to determine different conscious and subconscious qualities in you, and where they might lead you to in the future. All I have to say about that, is Riki hit it right on the nail :) .

The party was sooooo much fun. In the whole scheme of things, the party was pretty small with about 11 of us, four of which were kids. Lots of cake and ice cream. Definitely plenty of kosher hot dogs. Shaye was quite perplexed by the whole "birthday cake and candle thing". After the candle was blown out by Rae, everyone cheered, and Shaye basically melted down. Although sad in a way, on video, it is hilarious. He had a Teletubbies cake and the rest of the afternoon watched Veggie Tales on TV. Very cute. More when I get back to O-Town. Oh, and a quick hello to Ilana! :)
