Ouch, ouch, and double ouch

The trip to the dermatologist resulted in 4 beauty marks (moles always sound yucky, so I'll just say "beauty marks") being shaved off. Now my back is itchy like crazy. She took off 3 on my back, and one on my tummy. Everytime I go there I always get a lecture on how I have a lot of beauty marks and need to pay attention to them. I think I counted them all and have approximately 40 ("Holy Moly!" as Larry the Cable Guy would say), and some of them are in really cute places, ifyouknowwhatImean... And each time they take one off it's a scar that I just have to cover. I have two on my neck, one of which Ron said looked like a hickey. One on the middle of my back, two on my tummy, and one above my right hip on my lower back (that one for some odd reason is my favorite). But anyways, she did no sutures so that will hopefully minimize the likelihood of scarring. Whatever.

And I've completely gone off the Weight Watcher bandwagon. I'm going to have to do a new membership because I've missed two weeks; Mom has made me Bisquick Lite pancakes every morning for the past five days (and I've ate them at my own accord); I haven't excersized preferring to spend my time either reading really bad novels or, well, snacking; and lastly I haven't written my food down. I bought a journal the other day at Dollar Tree so I'll start writing down tomorrow. I've also had four doctor appointments.

Cool thing, though, is tomorrow I'm visiting Sandy (my art teacher from summer camp), at her job. She works at an Islamic School in Plantation teaching American history and art history. Each time I'm home from school she talks about how much she loves both the kids and the community that runs the school. I was curious about the situation when she was approached for the job about 2 years ago. Especially since she's Jewish. But they welcomed her with open arms and she waxes poetic about it. So I'm going to check it out, bring the kids some donuts, and chill out with them.

More tomorrow.
